Planning Process
Each year, ACHE re-examines its strategic plan with continuing focus on meeting the changing needs of its membership and of the healthcare management field, as well as ensuring the continued strength of the organization in years to come. A four-year cycle of review and re-examination is utilized beginning with an extensive re-build of the strategic plan, a fine-tuning review in the second and fourth years with a more detailed review based on progress, status and external influences in the third year. Each year, proposed plan changes are reviewed and discussed at the June Board of Governors meeting, with final changes presented and approved in November.
Quarterly progess reports on plan initiatives are presented to the Board of Governors and posted to this website upon approval.
The plan contains ACHE's vision and mission and five goal areas and initiatives that are critical to ACHE exceeding affiliates' expectations. The most recent, Board approved quarterly progress report is also available.
