Apply tools to assess competitiveness and the critical issues your organization will face. Gain involvement and ensure that plans lead to actions that impact the future.

Boot Camps at Congress
Prepare for your next leadership role with these one day programs—held the Sunday before Congress—for CEOs, COOs, physician executives, middle managers, new healthcare leaders and those interested in the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award. All Boot Camps offer 7 ACHE Face-to-Face Education credits.

Baldrige Boot Camp
This workshop will demystify the Baldrige journey by introducing the Baldrige criteria — with their key questions for driving improvement — in plain English. It will also reveal how healthcare organizations that have received the Baldrige award answered those questions and provide practical approaches to move provider organizations toward performance excellence.

New Healthcare Leader Boot Camp
This program will provide recent graduates or those transitioning into healthcare management insights on self-reflective leadership, powerful communication and developing a strong network of support that will accelerate your career. Combining lecture, group exercises, practical tools and references, and a lot of candid discussion, this boot camp is an essential element for professional development.

CEO Boot Camp
The CEO Boot Camp will provide an overview of the primary determinants of CEO success, many of which focus on maintaining financial viability, creating a successful management team, working collaboratively with the medical staff, building strong ties with the board, and meeting the many needs of your patients and community. The COO Boot Camp will provide an overview of the essential skills needed to function as an effective COO. Learn to successfully meet the challenges faced by COOs and manage your strengths and weaknesses.

This program is designed for physicians who have recently made the move to a full- or part-time physician executive position who are interested in further developing executive skills and physicians who are considering a move into medical management.
