Why I Attend Congress
There are hundreds of reasons to attend Congress. Watch the video below to see what keeps Mary T. Parra, FACHE, hospital performance improvement manager at the Camden Group, coming back year after year.
Take a Break at Congress and Make a Difference
Congress is certainly a time to gain new knowledge, fresh ideas and potential solutions, but it's not a week of all work and no play—take a break from Congress sessions by participating in the annual Congress Fun Run or the volunteer event to make a difference with your colleagues.
The Fun Run is a three-mile run/walk along Chicago's scenic lakeshore at 5:45 a.m. on Wednesday, March 26. There is a $10 fee to participate with 100 percent of the proceeds going to the Fisher Houseâ„¢. All participants will receive a souvenir T-shirt. To participate, you must register by 5 p.m. on Tuesday, March 25.
Wednesday also offers you the opportunity to join your colleagues in painting colorful mural panels that will be donated to various hospitals and healthcare facilities. No experience is necessary. Please note that the amount of time you can give is totally up to you—just stop by the Columbus Foyer, Gold Level (East Tower) when you are free between 8:45 a.m. and 5 p.m. Registration is not required for this event.
The Hyatt Regency Chicago Has Sold Out
