ACHE
STUDENT CHAPTERS AWARDED
CHICAGO,
February 2, 2004—University
of North Carolina at Chapel Hill; Virginia Commonwealth University,
Richmond; and U.S. Army-Baylor University, Fort Sam Houston,
TX, are the recipients of the American College of Healthcare
Executives 11th annual Student Chapter Awards.
The
graduate student chapters will receive their awards on Wednesday,
March 3, 2004, at the Leon I. Gintzig Commemorative Lecture
and Luncheon during ACHE's 47th Congress on Healthcare Management
at the Hyatt Regency Chicago. ACHE established the awards
to recognize those active student chapters whose programs
have demonstrated a commitment to promoting advancement in
ACHE.
The winners are:
- Greatest
percentage of graduating students advancing in ACHE over
a one-year period
University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill Student Chapter
- Greatest
number of graduating students advancing in ACHE over a one-year
period
Virginia Commonwealth University Student Chapter
- 2003
graduating class with the greatest number of ACHE Members,
Diplomates, and Fellows
U.S. Army-Baylor University Student Chapter
