SAMUEL
L. ODLE, FACHE, NOMINATED AS CHAIRMAN-ELECT OF
AMERICAN COLLEGE OF HEALTHCARE EXECUTIVES
CHICAGO, October 30, 2003—Samuel L. Odle, FACHE,
senior vice president, Clarian Health, and chief administrative officer
for Methodist Hospital, Indianapolis, has been nominated as the 2004-2005
Chairman-Elect of the American College of Healthcare Executives, an international
professional society of nearly 30,000 healthcare executives.
The
election will take place in March 2004 at the Council of Regents meeting
during ACHE's 47th Congress on Healthcare Management in Chicago. If elected,
Odle will serve the first part of a three-year term in ACHE's consecutive
chairmanship offices: Chairman-Elect, Chairman, and Immediate Past-Chairman.
Board certified
in healthcare management and an ACHE Fellow, Odle serves as an ACHE Governor.
Prior to becoming a Governor, he was an ACHE Regent-at-Large for District
4 from 1997 to 2001.
