Dennis L. Vonderfecht, FACHE
Dennis Vonderfecht has served as president and CEO of Mountain States Health Alliance in Johnson City, Tenn., since 1990. A nonprofit system serving a 29-county area in northeast Tennessee, southwest Virginia, western North Carolina and southeast Kentucky, MSHA operates 13 hospitals and numerous primary/preventive care centers and outpatient care sites. Mr. Vonderfecht is active in state and national organizations, serving in leadership roles on the boards of directors of the Tennessee Hospital Association, Hospital Alliance of Tennessee, Tennessee Center for Performance Excellence and Premier.
