Program Format
A message board is used for the online program. Each program is six weeks long. Every week you will be required to complete pre-assigned readings from your program material. The seminar faculty will post a question to be answered and discussed during the week and a summary of key points from the previous weeks' question will be provided. The sixth session will be conducted as an open forum for participants and faculty to discuss issues and ask questions that pertain to the course. Faculty also will be available for two weeks following the conclusion of the program to answer any final questions. At the end of the course, participants will also be asked to complete an evaluation of the online program.
Participants will receive a tutorial-manual style that explains basic instructions for accessing the program, retrieving files, sending and receiving e-mail and downloading program material, as well as a participant class list. Attendance at the live session is not required to receive Category I credit.
