An annual lecture featured at ACHE's Congress on Healthcare Leadership, the Parker B. Francis Distinguished Lecture was introduced by ACHE in cooperation with the Puritan-Bennett Corporation of Kansas City, MO, in memory of Parker B. and Mary Francis, for the purpose of presenting outstanding executives from the worlds of commerce, education, and government to the health services field. No lecture was given in 1980.
