Chapters

“This was an excellent learning experience for me! I feel far more prepared to step into my role as president-elect and then president the following year. If I had to sum the conference up in one sentence: Though I am a senior executive with many years of experience in healthcare and in chapter leadership roles, this conference was a definite energy booster, and it was jam-packed with new information I can immediately put to use to be more effective.”

—Patricia Sanders-Hall, FACHE, President-Elect, Kansas Association of Healthcare Executives

Learn how to lead your chapter at the 12th annual Chapter Leaders Conference, Oct. 12–13, in Rosemont, Ill.

The conference begins on Monday at noon with lunch and an official welcome by ACHE Chairman Richard D. Cordova, FACHE. ACHE President/CEO Deborah J. Bowen, FACHE, CAE, will provide an ACHE progress report.

After lunch, keynote speaker Kevin E. O’Connor, CSP, will discuss:

  • How to stop trying to solve new problems with the same old approaches.
  • Techniques to anticipate and overcome roadblocks, objections and those who say, “We can’t do that.”
  • Strategies to improve team performance finesse.

For the keynote address, you will receive 3 hours of ACHE Face-to-Face Education credit.

In the evening, plan to enjoy the ultimate dining and networking experience at the Board of Governors Reception and Dinner.

On Tuesday morning we have designed an interactive breakfast where chapter leaders will share their challenges and receive peer-to-peer assistance. Afterward, there will be a series of mini-sessions, idea exchanges and workshops to choose from—all designed to give you more “know how.”

A short wrap-up session will close the conference.
