Special rates are available to Congress attendees at the hotels listed below. Please contact the hotel directly to make your room reservations. First night’s room deposit and tax will be charged to your credit card at the time the reservation is made.
To receive special hotel rates, notify the hotel that you are attending ACHE’s Congress on Healthcare Leadership. The deadline to receive these special rates is February 22, 2010, subject to availability.

Please note that the Hyatt Regency Chicago is the headquarters for the Congress on Healthcare Leadership. Events will be held at the Hyatt, Swissôtel, and the Fairmont hotels throughout the week. The three hotels are located approximately two blocks apart; the Hyatt and Swiss are connected by an underground tunnel.
*Government Rates
Government rates are available to uniformed services and other government-employed Congress attendees at the prevailing government per diem for Chicago. Reservations should be made by calling the hotels directly. For the Hyatt Regency refer to code ACHE. Your credit card will be used to guarantee the reservation but will not be charged. Ask for ACHE’s Congress on Healthcare Leadership government room block.

Airline Discount
ACHE has arranged reduced fares with United Airlines. Simply call the Special Meeting Desk at (800) 521-4041 to receive a 2 to 10 percent discount off applicable fares. All ticketing and booking fees will be waived when you refer to ACHE Meeting ID Number 598YJ. If you purchase your ticket at least 30 days prior to travel, you will receive an additional 5 percent discount.
Car Rental Discounts
ACHE has arranged for a car rental discount with Avis and Hertz rental car companies. Shuttle Service
GO Airport Express serves both O’Hare and Midway Airports and all participating hotels of the 2009 Congress on Healthcare Leadership. Arrangements for pickups at both airports can be made at the baggage claim area upon arrival and with your hotel concierge upon departure. We strongly encourage you to make advanced reservations. The one-way cost per person is $26 from O’Hare Airport and $21 from Midway Airport. The round trip cost per person is $46 from O’Hare Airport and $36 from Midway Airport.

GO Airport Express operates from 5:00 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. out of O’Hare Airport and Midway Airport. The shuttles depart approximately every 15 minutes. Hotel service to O’Hare Airport and Midway Airport begins at 4:00 a.m. and concludes at 11:00 p.m. Early pickup to either airport requires a reservation.
Taxi
Participating hotels are located approximately 20 miles from O’Hare Airport and 12 miles from Midway Airport. Taxi fares to/from O’Hare range between $40 and $45 and to/from Midway between $30 and $35. Taxi stands at both airports are located outside of the baggage claim area.
Parking
The Hyatt Regency Chicago offers valet parking ($48 overnight), and self parking is available ($48 overnight).
Public Transportation
Rail—Union Station in downtown Chicago is served by Amtrak, with daily trains from the east (New York and Boston), south (New Orleans), west (California), and north (Milwaukee, Minneapolis and Seattle).
Public Transit—The Regional Transportation Authority (RTA) and the Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) operate buses, commuter trains and rapid transit throughout the metropolitan area. The CTA offers a rapid transit train from O’Hare airport to the Chicago Loop area on a 24-hour basis. The O’Hare/Loop rapid transit train (the Blue Line) is located in the lower level between terminals 2 and 3, and the cost is $2.50. Travel time to the downtown hotels is approximately one hour. The downtown stopping point closest to the Hyatt Regency Chicago is Clark and Lake (Blue Line). Because the hotels are several blocks away, you may wish to take a taxi from this stop.
The Orange Line at Midway Airport is accessed by using the moving walkway, which will take you to a pickup spot at 59th Street and Cicero Avenue. Travel time to the vicinity of the downtown hotels is approximately 30 minutes. The cost of the Midway/Loop connection is $2.50, and the nearest stop to the Hyatt Regency Chicago is Randolph/Wabash (Orange Line). 24-hour CTA travel information is available by calling (312) 836-7000 or at transitchicago.com.
Changes/Cancellations:
A written cancellation postmarked no later than March 5, 2010, entitles you to a refund (less a $100 processing fee) or a full credit toward another ACHE educational event. After that date, all fees/credit toward other seminars are forfeited. You are encouraged to send a substitute if you cannot attend.
Those who wish to register for Congress after March 15, 2010 should do so on-site. All changes to your Congress registration must be submitted in writing. All changes, including those made on-site, will be made on a space-available basis.
