Special rates are available to Congress attendees at the hotels listed below. Please contact the hotel directly to make your room reservations. First night’s room deposit and tax will be charged to your credit card at the time the reservation is made.

Please note that the Hyatt Regency Chicago is the headquarters for the Congress on Healthcare Leadership. Events will be held at the Hyatt, Swissôtel, and the Fairmont hotels throughout the week. The three hotels are located approximately two blocks apart; the Hyatt and Swiss are connected by an underground tunnel.
*Government Rates
Government rates are available to uniformed services and other government-employed Congress attendees at the prevailing government per diem for Chicago. Reservations should be made by calling the hotels directly. For the Hyatt Regency Chicago refer to code CAC1; for the Swissôtel, refer to code AMERO31612. Your credit card will be used to guarantee the reservation but will not be charged. Ask for ACHE’s Congress on Healthcare Leadership government room block.
The deadline to receive these special rates is Feb. 17, 2012, subject to availability. Please note, however, that due to heavy demand, rooms will sell out prior to this date. Making reservations early is recommended.
Airline Discount
ACHE has arranged reduced fares with United Airlines. Simply call the Special Meeting Desk at (800) 521-4041 to receive a 2 to 10 percent discount off applicable fares. All ticketing and booking fees will be waived when you refer to ACHE Meeting ID Number 598YJ. If you purchase your ticket at least 30 days prior to travel, you will receive an additional 5 percent discount.

Taxi
Congress hotels are located approximately 20 miles from O’Hare Airport and 12 miles from Midway Airport. Taxi fares to/from O’Hare range between $40 and $45 and to/from Midway between $30 and $35. Taxi stands at both airports are located outside of the baggage claim area.
Parking
The Hyatt Regency Chicago offers valet parking for $50 overnight.
Public Transportation
Rail—Union Station in downtown Chicago is served by Amtrak, with daily trains from the east (New York and Boston), south (New Orleans), west (California and Seattle), and north (Milwaukee and Minneapolis).
Public Transit—The Regional Transportation Authority (RTA) and the Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) operate buses, commuter trains and rapid transit throughout the metropolitan area. The CTA offers a rapid transit train from O’Hare airport to the Chicago Loop area on a 24-hour basis. The O’Hare/Loop rapid transit train (the Blue Line) is located in the lower level between terminals 2 and 3, and the cost is $2.25. Travel time to the downtown hotels is approximately one hour. When taking public transportation from O'Hare International Airport, take the Blue Line train.
The Orange Line at Midway Airport is accessed by following airport signage to the station. Travel time to the vicinity of the downtown hotels is approximately 30 minutes and costs $2.25. Changes/Cancellations:
A written cancellation postmarked no later than March 5, 2012, entitles you to a refund (less a $100 processing fee) or a full credit toward another ACHE educational event. After that date, all fees/credit toward other seminars are forfeited. You are encouraged to send a substitute if you cannot attend.
Those who wish to register for Congress after March 12, 2012 should do so on-site. All changes to your Congress registration must be submitted in writing. All changes, including those made on-site, will be made on a space-available basis.
