Fellow Evaluation Guidelines
- The fellow and the sponsor ideally identify areas of responsibility, objectives, measurement criteria and priorities before, during and after the postgraduate training experience.
- The fellow plays an integral part in the development, review and finalization of a predetermined performance plan. This plan may include areas of responsibility, objectives, and measurement criteria and priorities.
- Each fellow should have a performance plan. The fellow may prepare the plan, the sponsor serves as counselor/consultant and both should agree to the final plan.
- The sponsor helps the fellow assess his/her strengths and weakness and assists in establishing his/her career goals.
- The fellowship may be reviewed by peers so that it maintains timeliness, quality and validity. Practicing managers in the field may review content to enhance the value of the fellow’s experience.
