    Description/Structure: The one year Administrative Fellowship Program at the West Palm Beach VA Medical Center is part of the Department of Veterans Affairs Graduate Healthcare Administration Training Program (GHATP) and is precepted by the Medical Center Director. The West Palm Beach VA Medical Center is a member of the VA Sunshine Healthcare Network, serves seven counties and operates 6 Community Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOCs). The Medical Center provides secondary and tertiary care in medicine, psychiatry and surgery, has a large extended care unit, a Blind Rehabilitation Center that serves as the referral center for all blind and visually impaired veterans in the State of Florida, and a newly implemented Internal Medicine Residency Program. The Medical Center has a major focus in primary care with over 63,000 enrolled patients and over 500,000 outpatient visits per year. The Administrative Fellow will complete formal rotations in all departments at the facility and at VA National Headquarters, with opportunities for additional rotations at the Network and healthcare facilities in the community.
