Dr. Kovner has been a senior manager in two hospitals, a nursing home, a group practice, and a neighborhood health center, as well as a senior health care consultant for a large industrial union. He has written 11 books and 91 peer-reviewed articles. |
David J. Fine, PhD, FACHE, is the president and chief executive officer of St. Luke’s Episcopal Health System. Dr. Fine has 35 years of experience as a healthcare executive and holds professorial appointments at Rice University, Texas A&M University, Baylor College of Medicine, and the University of Texas Health Science Center–Houston. He is the author or coauthor of 4 books and 29 peer-reviewed articles. |
