Toshiba Continues Support of Scholarships to ACHE Executive Program
CHICAGO, May 7, 2013—To help educate future healthcare leaders, Toshiba America Medical Systems, Inc., has recommitted its support of the Foundation of the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) as a corporate donor for the Fund for Innovation in Healthcare Leadership.
Toshiba became a contributor to the Fund in 2009 and has since underwritten 60 scholarships for attendees of ACHE's Executive Program. With this recommitment, Toshiba will be providing support through 2016.
“We are thrilled to continue our work with Toshiba,” said ACHE President and CEO Thomas C. Dolan, PhD, FACHE, CAE. “The continued commitment from Toshiba provides a unique opportunity to champion leadership innovation in healthcare delivery through scholarships for ACHE's Executive Program.”
ACHE's Executive Program is designed to equip the next generation of healthcare executives with the essential management and operational skills needed to move into senior leadership positions. Over the course of three multi-day sessions held throughout the year, participants gain knowledge and tools needed to successfully lead organizational change and achieve leadership excellence.
“ACHE's program provides Toshiba an opportunity to invest in future healthcare leaders to build long-term relationships and improve the quality of patient care,” said Cathy Wolfe, senior director, Corporate and Strategic Communications, Toshiba. “We have been impressed with the quality of education ACHE offers its members, and we look forward to being a part of this program for another three years.”
