ACHE recognizes that information and knowledge-sharing are crucial for today's healthcare leaders. To help meet this need, ACHE conducts year-round Research in the field of healthcare management and provides valuable healthcare management Resources to assist its members.

Research

Research enables ACHE to share knowledge with its members and the healthcare management field. ACHE conducts research in multiple healthcare management areas, including career attainments of healthcare executives, trends affecting the profession, current and future issues confronting hospital CEOs and the extent of hospital CEO turnover, among many other topics. Other researchers in the field of healthcare management can present their work at the Forum on Advances in Healthcare Management and the Management Innovations Poster Session, conducted as part of the Congress on Healthcare Leadership. These sessions serve as an opportunity for practitioners and researchers to interact and learn from one another.

ACHE studies are done through a variety of formats such as surveys, analysis of annual membership statistics, qualitative interviews, and focus groups with members.
