Amongst this group is a critical shortage of healthcare techs. These professionals are behind the scenes at every hospital and include laboratory techs, radiologic techs, surgical techs, phlebotomists, ER techs and many others. They make up an essential core team for running your hospital where strategies are necessary to retain and engage top talent.
This session will provide background on the shortage of healthcare technicians and why it has become important now more than ever to retain good employees in these professions; discuss current strategies that can be applied in the healthcare industry to attract and recruit future laboratory professionals; and present learnings in keeping healthcare techs engaged at a hospital level.
