The Board of Governors Examination in Healthcare Management (BoG Exam) is a comprehensive multiple-choice exam testing 10 core healthcare management knowledge areas. This in-depth review course provides the opportunity to gain insight into all 10 knowledge areas. Participants will explore effective test-taking strategies, review sample test questions and gain a better understanding of the Exam’s content, structure and scoring.
Whether you use the course to set the foundation for your study or take it as the culmination of your review efforts, upon completion of this review course, you will be able to:
- Identify knowledge gaps and needed areas of focus.
- Apply test-taking strategies to your Exam experience.
- Earn ACHE In-Person Education credits.
- Move forward confidently with your Exam preparation.

Assess Your Knowledge: Practice Board of Governors Exam Included
Reinforce your knowledge and boost your confidence as you prepare for the Board of Governors Exam. You’ll receive access to an online practice BoG Exam, which includes 200 questions. You’ll have 120 days or one attempt to complete the practice exam, whichever comes first. Please note: we are unable to grant extensions beyond the 120 days. Plan your course participation and practice exam attempt accordingly.
Why Take the Exam?
Passing the BoG Exam is the final step on the path to becoming board certified as a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives. With the FACHE® credential after your name, you demonstrate your competence, credibility and dedication to healthcare management excellence.
