Marc L. Boom, MD, FACHE, FACP, president/CEO, Houston Methodist, oversees a fully integrated health system with a world-renowned academic medical center as well as seven community hospitals with more than 24,000 employees. Houston Methodist has led breakthroughs in organ transplantation, orthopedics, cancer treatment and neurology. Decker and Boom are experienced in the areas of innovation and disruptive change, leading operational teams to achieve better results while being mindful of the likelihood of reduced resources in the future. You will hear lessons learned from their own systems’ success stories that can be employed in other healthcare settings.
