Steven D. Chinn, DPM, FACHE, has more than 30 years of clinical, management and medical education experience in acute care, behavioral health, ambulatory and integrated delivery care settings. In his current role as administrative director, Quality Management, Accreditation & Regulatory Affairs, he oversees Stanford Health Care’s accreditation, regulatory, and licensure compliance. He is a clinical associate professor, Division of Population Health and Primary Care, Department of Medicine, Stanford School of Medicine.

Prior his current role, Dr. Chinn has served as chief quality executive for Kaiser Permanente-Redwood City, VA Palo Alto Health System and Ardent Health Services.

He also serves as a consultant with healthcare organizations throughout the United States and internationally, including academic medical centers, community and rural health organizations, U.S. Department of Defense, Veterans Affairs and NASA. He is a former Joint Commission surveyor.
