This book is available softbound or in e-book format. The e-book is provided through the VitalSource platform and is accessible for online and offline reading on Macs, PCs and a variety of tablets, including the iPad.

If you choose the e-book version of the book, you will receive further information and download instructions from ACHE at least a week before the start of the course. If ordering an e-book within two days of the course’s start date, note that book orders will be processed within two business days.

All softbound books are shipped to your preferred shipping address as stated in your ACHE account, unless otherwise specified.

Online seminars are six-week programs that allow you to work at your own pace in an interactive online environment. Take advantage of the opportunity to earn ACHE Qualified Education credits conveniently at your location without the cost or time needed to travel.

Cancellation

To cancel your online seminar registration, please notify the Customer Service Center at least 14 business days before the start of the program for a refund or credit, less a $50 processing fee. After that time, a refund or credit is forfeited. If a course includes a book, ACHE must receive notification of your cancellation prior to shipment of the book. Once the book has shipped, no refund or credit for the book will be granted. Substitute attendees are permitted. Notifications must be made in writing to contact@ache.org and must include the name of the original registrant and the new registrant's name, address and phone number.

Continuing Education Credit

In support of improving patient care, the American College of Healthcare is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), and the Academy of Physician Assistants to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.

 

This activity was planned by and for the healthcare team, and learners will receive a maximum of 6 Interprofessional Continuing Education (IPCE) credit for learning and change.

Physician Continuing Medical Education

The American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) designates this live activity for a maximum of 6 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Continuing Nursing Education

The American College of Healthcare Executives designates this live activity for a maximum of 6 contact hours of continuing nursing education.

Continuing Pharmacy Education

The American College of Healthcare Executives designates this knowledge-based activity for a maximum 6 contact hours of continuing pharmacy education credit.  

Physician Assistant Continuing Education

The American College of Healthcare Executives has been authorized by the American Academy of PAs (AAPA) to award AAPA Category 1 CME credit for activities planned in accordance with AAPA CME Criteria. This activity is designated for a maximum of 9 AAPA Category 1 CME credits. PAs should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation.
