Redonda Miller, MD, is president of The Johns Hopkins Hospital, a 1,100-bed academic medical center with $2.8 billion in revenue, 11,000 employees and a dual mission of innovation and community care. A physician by training, Dr. Miller continues to advance the hospital’s focus on providing cutting-edge clinical care; enhancing quality, safety and the patient experience; and improving health equity and outcomes for residents of Baltimore City. During Dr. Miller’s tenure as president, The Johns Hopkins Hospital has been consistently recognized for extraordinary care, maintaining its rank among the top hospitals in the nation on the U.S. News & World Report Honor Roll, earning its fourth consecutive Magnet designation for nursing excellence, receiving a top grade for patient safety from The Leapfrog Group, and achieving gold certification in person-centered care from Planetree International.

Dr. Miller is active in several community and professional organizations, and serves on the boards of Turnaround Tuesday, Visit Baltimore and Gilchrist. Recently, she was honored to be inducted into the National Academy of Medicine and the Maryland Chamber of Commerce Business Hall of Fame.
