Greg Mogel, MD

Chief Medical Officer, CareSelect, Change Healthcare

Greg Mogel, MD, joined the CareSelect team at Change Healthcare in 2018. In his role as CMO, he helps develop and execute the strategy for CareSelect, a suite of decision-support content and technology integrations for imaging, lab, blood management and automated prior authorization.


Dr. Mogel came to Change Healthcare from Kaiser Permanente where he held several leadership positions in imaging and informatics regionally in Northern California as well as nationally. A former associate professor of radiology and biomedical engineering at the University of Southern California, Dr. Mogel was also the deputy director of the U.S. Army Telemedicine and Advanced Technology Research Center at Fort Detrick, Md., during his military career.

Dr. Mogel practices diagnostic radiology with a special focus on emergency radiology and body imaging. Greg is active in the appropriate use, lung cancer screening and artificial intelligence communities at the American College of Radiology.

Dr. Mogel received his bachelor of arts degree in biology from Temple University and his medical degree from The University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine.
