Phyllis Teater

CIO, The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center

Phyllis Teater is the CIO of The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center with responsibility for information technology across OSUWMC’s three-part mission of patient care, teaching and research. Phyllis has been with the medical center since 1991 and has been instrumental in the adoption and rollout of OSUWMC’s ambulatory and inpatient electronic medical records, as well as significant enhancements in the technology support for research IT services and technology for education.

 

Prior to her role as CIO, she served as deputy CIO and had responsibility for all electronic medical record systems, in addition to financial and human resource systems.

 

Phyllis earned her Bachelor of Science and Master of Business Administration from The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio.
