Lisa Vail, DNP, RN, joined Bryan Medical Center in Lincoln, Neb., at the end of 2012 as the vice president, patient care services and chief nursing officer. Lisa has been a registered nurse for 40 years, with more than 30 years of progressive leadership roles in Minnesota, Kansas, New Mexico, Missouri and Nebraska. Lisa provides organizationwide, operational and strategic leadership for the areas of in-patient nursing, emergency, mental health, perioperative, rehabilitation and care transitions at Bryan. In this position, with her strong focus on delivering exceptional patient-centered care, Lisa creates strong interdisciplinary teams that work collaboratively on various challenges that present themselves in today’s ever-changing healthcare landscape. She partners with others to fulfill the mission of Bryan Medical Center, which is “Elevate quality of life through better health.”
As Bryan Health continues to grow and expand its services in southeast Nebraska and the surrounding region, Lisa has recently been promoted to senior vice president, patient care services/system chief nursing officer to strengthen alignment and improve quality of patient care services across the continuum.
