Bill Orrell, RN

Bill Orrell is a managing director in BRG’s Healthcare Performance Improvement practice. He is a healthcare executive with more than 20 years of clinical, healthcare operations and consulting experience. Orrell leads the Care Transformation team where he works with physicians and nurses to assist healthcare organizations through rapid change management processes to improve patient care outcomes, and quality and financial performance. His areas of expertise include optimizing perioperative services, redesigning EDs, tracking nursing quality metrics, improving patient care transitions and decreasing patient lengths of stay. Orrell holds a Master of Business Administration and Master of Science in nursing from the University of Alabama.
