COL Amelia M. Duran-Stanton is currently the Army Medical Specialist Corps Specific Branch Proponent Officer. She has 32 years of active duty in the Army as an enlisted officer. She has held multiple positions at strategic, operational and tactical levels in healthcare and field settings. She holds a PhD in postsecondary and adult education, a Doctor of Science in orthopedic physician assistant studies and is Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt certified. She is passionate about teaching, coaching and mentoring.
