Biography
Amy Nunziata is responsible for the healthcare facilities regulatory compliance group and the Performance Optimization Assessment (POA) team. Her role encompasses driving financial performance for healthcare clients through streamlining operations and optimizing real estate assts for healthcare clients, as well as leading consulting services in regulatory compliance and facilities assessments. Nunziata works closely with clients and JLL teams to develop and deliver scalable solutions that improve customer and patient experiences, ensure regulatory compliance and identify cost-saving opportunities and best practices for clients. Her career spans more than 25 years of providing leadership, management, direction and oversight of healthcare, research and academic facilities.
In her prior role at JLL, Nunziata was the executive vice president of JLL Healthcare’s Work Dynamics division, responsible for driving the financial performance of clients through real estate and integrated facilities management.
Prior to JLL, Nunziata was the vice president for Facilities Operations and Engineering for New York Presbyterian (NYP) Hospital. In this role, she led the operations, engineering and infrastructure initiatives for the five campuses located in Manhattan, NYP Brooklyn Methodist Hospital and NYP Queens, as well as environmental health and safety across the 10-hospital enterprise. She was designated as the hospital safety officer.
Prior to NYP, Nunziata worked for Brookhaven Science Associates who operates Brookhaven National Laboratory, a multidisciplinary Department of Energy laboratory on Long Island, where she spent over five years, leading as the Facilities and Operations associate laboratory director. Prior to this, she spent nearly 20 years at Stony Brook University and Medical Center, serving in various leadership roles, including executive-level positions in Campus Operations and Maintenance, Physical Plant Operations and Environmental Stewardship.
Nunziata holds a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering from Manhattan College, as well as a Master of Business Administration from Dowling College. She is a LEED-Accredited Professional and Certified Healthcare Facility Manager (CHFM).
