F. Douglas Scutchfield, MD, is the Peter P. Bosomworth Professor of health services research and policy and professor of preventive medicine and environmental health at the University of Kentucky. He is director of the Division of Health Services Management and is also acting associate dean for public health in the College of Medicine, and director of the Kentucky School of Public Health.
