Biography
Lindsey B. Amerine, PharmD, MS, BCPS, FASHP, is the director of pharmacy for UNC Health and the coordinator for the Health-System Pharmacy Administration and Leadership Residency at UNC Medical Center. Amerine has overseen the operational, clinical and financial services at UNC. She has previously managed eight infusion centers (including seven centers she helped open), leads the Medication Assistance Program, and created the Pharmacy Revenue Integrity team responsible for outpatient medical benefit denials, reimbursement and charge integrity. She is an associate professor of clinical education at the UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy and is a board certified pharmacotherapy specialist.
Amerine earned her doctorate in pharmacy from the University of Wyoming School of Pharmacy and her master’s degree with an emphasis in Health-System Pharmacy Administration from the UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy while completing her two-year Health-System Pharmacy Administration Residency at UNC Hospitals. She is the Chair-Elect for American Society of Health-System Pharmacists’ (ASHP) Section of Pharmacy Practice Leaders Executive Committee.
