Biography

Dr. Michelle Beidelschies plays a pivotal role in advancing Exact Sciences’ innovative multi cancer early detection (MCED) technology. She ensures that medical strategies are firmly grounded in the latest scientific evidence and practical, real-world implementation.

Dr. Beidelschies has been instrumental in driving progress in MCED through her editorial leadership on key research publications and as a co-author of influential studies that have shaped the design and clinical application of MCED technologies.

Bringing a rich academic and clinical background, she previously served at the Cleveland Clinic as a member of the staff and the director of Research & Education at the Center for Functional Medicine. She also completed a research fellowship in value-based care and held faculty and leadership roles, including assistant professor at the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine. Prior to this role, she served as the director of Education & Clinical Affairs at Cleveland HeartLab, Inc. Dr. Beidelschies earned her PhD in cellular physiology and biophysics and completed a postdoctoral fellowship in nutrition and metabolic disease at Case Western Reserve University.
