Paula H. Song, PhD, is associate professor and residential master’s program director in the Department of Health Policy and Management in the Gillings School of Global Public Health, and a research fellow in the Cecil G. Sheps Center for Health Services Research, both at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Dr. Song’s research and teaching interests span healthcare financial management, investment strategies in not-for-profit hospitals, payment reform, and business case evaluation for health initiatives. Dr. Song received a doctorate in health services organization and policy and a master’s degree in health services administration and applied economics from the University of Michigan.
