Richard l. Skinner is vice president of information systems and CIO for the Providence Health System. Mr. Skinner has more than 20 years' experience in healthcare information systems, including serving as the CIO for hospitals and a medical research laboratory and as project manager for the development and implementation of the U.S. Department of Defense's global medical information system.
