Biography

With a career spanning over two decades at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center - Frisco, Stacy Erickson has been a driving force in elevating the organization's patient care and operational excellence. Currently serving as the Chief Nursing Officer since 2021, Erickson leads a dedicated team delivering exceptional care across a broad spectrum of services.

As the Chief Nursing Officer, Erickson's responsibilities encompass a diverse portfolio, including emergency/urgent care, medical-surgical, step-down, perioperative and surgical services, maternal and neonatal care and more. Her strategic initiatives were pivotal in securing the Center of Excellence designation for robotic surgery, a significant achievement that contributed over $6 million in direct margin.

Erickson's leadership extends beyond clinical operations. From 2018 to 2021, she was an associate administrator who orchestrated strategic partnerships and implemented evidence-based clinical pathways, driving the facility's growth and service line excellence.

Before her executive roles, Erickson served in various capacities, including vice president of Quality; Risk Management; Patient Safety and Emergency Services, where she led initiatives resulting in the prestigious Press Ganey Summit Award for outstanding patient satisfaction.

Erickson holds a Master of Business Administration, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and certifications in healthcare environmental management.

In addition to her professional achievements, Erickson is an active member of several professional organizations, including the American Society for Healthcare Risk Management, the American Society of Perianesthesia Nurses, the Association of periOperative Registered Nurses and the Emergency Nurses Association.
