Thomas P. Flannery, PhD, is a partner with the Andersen Human Capital practice. Based in Boston, he serves as competency leader of Andersen’s People Strategy and Human Resource Management Group in the United States. He is the author of People, Performance, and Pay (Simon & Schuster’s Free Press 1996). He has also published numerous articles about compensation in healthcare and other fields. He holds a BA in education from Arizona State University, an MA in public administration from the University of New Mexico, and a PhD in administration and social policy from Northwestern University.
