Wendy Novicoff is a professor of Public Health Sciences and Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Virginia School of Medicine, where she teaches research methodology and quality management. She is a certified Six Sigma Master Black Belt and Lean Sensei, and has had the opportunity to work with healthcare organizations nationwide to implement Lean and Six Sigma programs. Dr. Novicoff’s primary research interests are health services research, outcomes evaluations, hospital/health system data quality and integrity, and performance improvement.
