Biography

Colin Cordes has more than 10 years of professional experience in leading healthcare consulting and technology programs. He is vice president, sales solution architect, Optum, where he is responsible for bridging the gap between customer requirements and Optum’s offerings to achieve optimal customer success.

Cordes has extensive experience in healthcare IT and services solutions, most recently as a customer program executive. In this role, he served as the executive contact for up to six customer accounts, leading customer engagements from sales and implementation through support and growth phases. Prior to this role, Cordes led assessments, where he completed deep reviews of customer operations to identify areas for opportunity.

Cordes started his career at Cerner Corporation (now Oracle Health). He also spent time in revenue cycle management consulting with PricewaterhouseCoopers and Navigant Consulting. Through these varied experiences, he has become a deep expert within hospital provider operations while also gathering a refined understanding of the appropriate use and implementation of technology to solve operational challenges.
