Biography
As chief quality officer of the Cleveland Clinic, Cynthia Deyling , MD, FACP, oversees all quality, regulatory and risk-management activities across the health system. She and her team collaborate with clinical and support departments to align quality outcomes and patient safety into daily practice. Prior to her role as chief quality officer, Dr. Deyling held a variety of positions within the Cleveland Clinic health system, including chair of the Regional Operations Institute for over six years and medical director at Independence Family Health Center for 15 years. Active on several healthcare-related boards and councils, Dr. Deyling was the honoree and achievement award recipient for the Women’s Professional Staff Association’s “Speaking of Women’s Health” conference in 2010. She has also been named one of Cleveland's best physicians by Cleveland Magazine since 1997, and was recognized by Crain’s Cleveland Business as one of Northeast Ohio’s “Women of Note” in 2015.
