Jamie Wiggins Ph.D., MBA, RN, NEA-BC, FACHE, serves as the executive vice president/chief operating officer for Arkansas Children’s. He has considerable experience in children's hospital clinical and administrative operations with a deep understanding of pediatric healthcare safety, quality and innovation. Jamie is an effective healthcare executive with 25+ years of experience in healthcare, including 15 years of progressive executive leadership positions delivering results and improving quality of care. As a candid mentor and transformational leader, he prides himself on keeping staff engaged and motivating people towards a shared vision. He has demonstrated clinical and administrative accomplishments in academic as well as non-academic environments, and in both matrix and non-matrix organizations. Jamie earned his Associate Degree in Nursing from Pitt Community College, Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of San Francisco, Master of Science in Nursing and Health Systems Leadership from the University of California – San Francisco, Master of Business Administration from Nicholls State University, and Doctor of Philosophy in Nursing from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center New Orleans.
