Social Media Guidelines and Terms of Use

Thank you for being part of the ACHE online community. The official ACHE LinkedIn Group is for healthcare leaders to exchange information, build contacts and share ideas. Our goal is to create an engaged, proactive community. We hope that you will visit the group regularly, exchange ideas with your fellow group members and connect with them, both online and offline.

To ensure the best possible experience for all community members, we have established some basic guidelines for participation. If you have questions about these guidelines or social media in general, contact socialmedia@ache.org or call (312) 424-9425. If you have general questions about ACHE, please contact the Customer Service Center at contact@ache.org or (312) 424-9400.

Guidelines

  • Frequent and engaging discussions are encouraged. Make sure your comments are relevant to the discussion. Off-topic comments may be deleted, or you may be asked to start a new discussion about the topic.
  • Participate in discussions and post resources in a professional manner. We do not tolerate profanity, inappropriate conduct, or any content that humiliates, offends, or compromises any member. Posts may be monitored, and inappropriate content may be removed. We reserve the right to remove any group member engaging in this type of behavior.
  • Respect other people's experiences. Some advice may not align with your interests or beliefs, but there may be others who benefit from hearing it.
  • Don't post commercial messages. Self-promotional posts or posts that would be considered spam may be removed. Because ACHE's social media groups are designed to share insight and news that would be relevant for all ACHE members across the country, we try to keep the conversations revolving around idea sharing and industry news.
  • Discussions should not contain job offers or requests for jobs—ACHE reserves the right to remove such messages where applicable. If you would like to post an open position or if you are looking for a job opportunity, please check ACHE's Job Center at ache.org/JobCenter.
  • Use caution when posting. Don't post anything that you wouldn't want the world to see or that you wouldn't want anyone to know came from you.

If you find a comment offensive, flag it for review by the moderator or contact the social media marketing team at socialmedia@ache.org. Moderators reserve the right to remove any comment or discussion at any time for any reason where applicable.

As a service to our members, ACHE reserves the right to periodically post information about ACHE products and services. Please note additional information regarding ACHE's web policy is listed in the terms of use at ache.org.
