• Make sure their organizations have strong strategic, operational and financial footing to serve the needs of patients, their families and their communities.
• Serve as skilled, trained professionals who partner with physicians, nurses, and other clinical and nonclinical professionals to provide care.
• Help educate the community about important health issues.
• Ensure hospitals and other healthcare organizations serve their communities by providing emergency and ongoing care, as well as accurate and timely information about public threats in times of crisis.
