Rulon F. Stacey, PhD, FACHE, Installed as ACHE Chairman
CHICAGO, March 19, 2011—Rulon F. Stacey, PhD, FACHE, president/CEO, Poudre Valley Health System, Fort Collins, Colo., has assumed the office of Chairman of the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE). Stacey was installed today at the Council of Regents Meeting during ACHE’s 54th Congress on Healthcare Leadership.
Stacey received the gavel from ACHE’s outgoing Chairman Christopher D. Van Gorder, FACHE, president/CEO, Scripps Health, San Diego. As Chairman, Stacey will serve the second part of a three-year term in ACHE’s consecutive chairmanship offices: Chairman-Elect, Chairman and Immediate Past Chairman.
Board certified in healthcare management as an ACHE Fellow, Stacey previously served as an ACHE Governor from 2007 to 2010. He served as the ACHE Regent for Colorado from 2004 to 2007. Stacey received ACHE’s Robert S. Hudgens Memorial Award for Young Healthcare Executive of the Year in 1999.
