Michael E. Frisina, PhD

Michael Frisina is founder and president of The Frisina Group LLC and The Center for Influential Leadership in Elgin, S.C. Dr. Frisina was previously assistant professor at the U.S. Military Academy at West Point and assistant professor at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences in Bethesda, Md. He has held administration positions in both military and civilian healthcare systems at various levels of increasing responsibility. He is an internationally known speaker and the author of Influential Leadership: Change Your Behavior, Change Your Organization, Change Health Care.


Nathan S. Kaufman
Managing Director, Kaufman Strategic Advisors, LLC

Nathan Kaufman is managing director and founder of Kaufman Strategic Advisors LLC in San Diego. He has more than 30 years of experience in the areas of peak performing hospitals and physician groups, hospital strategy, physician compensation, integrated delivery systems, managed care, joint ventures and dispute resolution. Mr. Kaufman has held executive positions in a wide range of healthcare companies, including president and COO of an imaging center company. He currently serves as executive in residence and HSI Advisory Board at Georgia Tech Health Systems Institute.


Dan Majka
Senior Vice President, Kauffman Hall

Dan Majka is a senior vice president in Kaufman Hall’s Los Angeles office. Mr. Majka consults on a national basis for clients, including regional healthcare systems, academic medical centers and community hospitals. His areas of expertise include the preparation of integrated strategic and financial plans, development of capital allocation processes, financial advisory services for bond issues, and merger and acquisition-related analyses. Mr. Majka is also actively involved in development efforts related to Kaufman Hall’s ENUFF software suite.

Kevin O’Connor is a specialist in educating and coaching professionals who are charged with leading professional organizations, especially their professional peers. His extensive experience with healthcare leaders has resulted in greater effectiveness in team development and bottom-line outcomes. Mr. O’Connor’s major areas of focus are leadership, influence, innovation and the development of teams of professionals. Mr. O’Connor holds faculty positions at Chicago’s Loyola University and Columbia College. He holds three master’s degrees and is the author or co-author of seven books, including the most recent, 10 Tips for Successful Time Management.
