Thomas A. Atchison, EdD

<div id="pastingspan1"></div><div id="pastingspan1">Thomas A. Atchison, EdD, is president and founder of Atchison Consulting LLC. Since 1984, Dr. Atchison has consulted with healthcare organizations on managed change programs, team building and leadership development. His clients include senior executives, managers, trustees and physician leaders. He has also consulted the military, healthcare vendors and government agencies on the intangible aspects of healthcare.</div><div> </div><div id="pastingspan1">Dr. Atchison has taught several courses on leadership and change management for ACHE. He has also written numerous articles about motivation, managed change, teambuilding and leadership. His book, <em>Turning Healthcare Leadership Around</em>, was published in October 1990. Michael E. Frisina, PhD

<p>Michael E. Frisina, PhD, is founder/CEO of The Frisina Group LLC, Elgin, S.C., and The Center for Influential Leadership. He is an author, educator and consultant specializing in healthcare leadership and performance improvement. He is also an internationally known speaker and the author of <em>Influential Leadership: Change Your Behavior, Change Your Organization, Change Health Care. </em>Dr. Frisina was previously assistant professor at the U.S. Military Academy at West Point and assistant professor at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences in Bethesda, Md. His work focuses on strategy, physician engagement, value-based care, governance as well as partnerships, mergers and acquisitions. Steve Kreiser

<div>Steve Kreiser is a senior consultant with Healthcare Performance Improvement in Virginia Beach, Va., a firm specializing in improving human performance in complex systems using evidence-based methods derived from high-risk industries. Mr. Kreiser is a former U.S. Navy fighter pilot with experience improving reliability and safety in naval aviation. His current position includes working on safety culture transformation efforts in dozens of healthcare organizations across the country. Brian J. Silverstein, MD

<div>Brian Silverstein is a director with The Chartis Group in Chicago. Dr. Silverstein is a national healthcare thought leader with extensive consulting and operational expertise, including a focus on population management. He previously was managing partner, HC Wisdom LLC, in Glencoe, Ill., and senior vice president at CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield, where he ran one of the country’s largest primary ACO/PCMH programs with over 1 million patients and 3,500 providers. Dr. Silverstein’s consulting career included roles as managing director of the Geisinger Consulting Group and senior vice president at the Camden Group. Harjot Singh, MD

<p>Harjot Singh, MD, is an advisor who creates programs that help leaders make their leadership work. He is a practicing physician, chief of telepsychiatry service at Kingsview Behavioral Health and faculty at American College of Healthcare Executives. Scott C. Stuecher

<div>Scott Stuecher is a vice president at Hammes Healthcare, a healthcare consulting firm headquartered in Milwaukee. His engagement work focuses on strategic facility development and network planning for hospitals and healthcare systems. He is an accomplished healthcare executive and thought leader, recognized by clients for delivering innovative and actionable solutions to complex strategic challenges. Over his 15-year career, Mr. Stuecher has worked with more than 100 provider organizations across the United States, ranging from multiregional health systems and academic medical centers to independent community hospitals.</div><div>  </div>Prior to joining Hammes, Mr. Stuecher served healthcare institutions in other consulting capacities, most recently as a principal with Veralon, a national strategic and financial planning firm. He frequently publishes on a variety of industry topics and has spoken at numerous healthcare leadership conferences. He was also a contributing author to Healthcare Strategic Planning, Fourth Edition, published by Health Administration Press. Mr. Stuecher is based in Columbus, Ohio.<br /><br /><div></div>

Laura W. Synnott, FACHE

<p>Laura Synnott is associate teaching professor at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh. She provides operations, project management and strategy-development consulting services to healthcare providers. Ms. Synnott previously served as a hospital operations vice president overseeing ancillary and support departments, as well as construction projects. She has overseen numerous projects including an outpatient surgery addition, an emergency department expansion and a credentials verification organization. Gary Yates, MD

<p>Gary Yates is a former partner with Press Ganey Strategic Consulting and the founding president of Healthcare Performance Improvement (HPI) LLC. Prior to that, he was senior vice president/CMO for Sentara Healthcare, where his responsibilities included the clinical effectiveness, patient safety, physician integration and medical management initiatives for Sentara’s integrated health system. He is a board-certified family physician and currently serves on the Board of Stewardship Trustees for CommonSpirit Health.</p>
