ACHE’s New Chair Champions Lifelong Learning

Michele K. Sutton, FACHE, president/CEO, North Oaks Health System, Hammond, La., shared her vision on healthcare leadership excellence with Becker’s Hospital Review in a recently published article.

She also recognizes the importance of contributing to the professional development of others—something her organization strives to achieve.

“In today’s times of rapid change and complexities often beyond our control, staying ahead of trends and growing our competencies is even more imperative,” she writes. Sutton emphasizes the importance of good listening skills, which she finds crucial to understanding complex problems. Find Sutton’s full article here.

Jackson is founder, chair and CEO of Jackson Healthcare, Alpharetta, Ga., which he launched in 2000.

Today it is one of the largest U.S. healthcare staffing companies. Over the course of his career, Jackson has been instrumental in conceptualizing and developing more than 30 healthcare companies—staffing companies, surgery centers, practice management companies, clinics and hospitals. Jackson received his award March 22 during the Convocation ceremony.

Additional award winners honored at Congress will be recognized in upcoming issues of ACHe-news. General information about ACHE awards can be found on the “ACHE News and Awards” webpage.
