IHF Recognizes Those Who Went “Beyond the Call of Duty”
Did your organization put in place an outstanding and innovative response or action to COVID-19? The International Hospital Federation has launched the IHF COVID-19 Response Recognition Program to recognize the dedication and sacrifices of healthcare workers around the world who went “beyond the call of duty” in response to the pandemic.
IHF invites all hospitals and health service providers that have outstanding and innovative organizational responses or actions in response to COVID-19 in their region or country to submit them for recognition. Recipients of this recognition will receive a certificate and IHF will produce a special publication featuring selected responses.
There is no charge to submit entries, which are due Sept. 1. Visit the IHF website for more information or to submit an entry.
Are Telemental Health Services Here to Stay?
Stress caused by the pandemic thrust telemental health into the spotlight. Now that many organizations have made the transition to a virtual model to continue psychotherapy and psychiatric management for patients and reduce the risk of suicide attempts, ED visits and hospitalizations, early signs are that this option will last.
Learn more in the feature “Behavioral Healthcare Now and Post COVID-19: Integrating Telemental Health Services” in the July/August issue of Healthcare Executive magazine.
