Program Spotlight: Gain Industry Perspective on Current, Future Healthcare Landscape
Join healthcare industry leaders Richard J. Pollack, president and CEO, American Hospital Association, and an ACHE Member; Matthew D. Eyles, president and CEO, America’s Health Insurance Plans; and James L. Madara, MD, CEO and executive vice president, American Medical Association, for a fireside chat to address critical issues facing U.S. healthcare providers.
During this special session to be held during the 2021 Congress on Healthcare Leadership, Pollack, Eyles and Madara will discuss the delivery of care, healthcare policy and the new administration. Discover how these leaders are guiding their organizations and navigating the current healthcare debate and policy recommendations based on current trends and expectations for the future. Participants can expect to leave this session with a deeper understanding of current issues across the healthcare spectrum and strategies for your organization.
We hope you will join us March 22–25 for this year’s virtual experience. Register today for an early-bird fee of only $449. Visit ache.org/Congress to learn more.

Participants who take this course can earn up to 9 ACHE Qualified Education credits while reviewing key law and compliance topics including fraud and abuse, the HITECH Act, patient privacy, medical malpractice, the Affordable Care Act and more. Futurescan 2021–2026: Health Care Trends and Implications
In an environment that was already increasingly consumer-driven, the pandemic will permanently alter the way providers operate, according to health economist and author Jane Sarasohn-Kahn. Although it is difficult to predict exactly how the pandemic will change the healthcare delivery landscape, Sarasohn-Kahn believes the post COVID-19 healthcare consumer will seek safety, convenience and value even more so than before. Her piece on consumerism is one of eight feature articles from industry thought leaders included in Futurescan 2021–2026: Health Care Trends and Implications. This highly respected annual guide to healthcare trends will help organizations prepare for the future. An essential tool for strategic planning, Futurescan 2021–2026 focuses on various aspects of healthcare in the context of COVID-19, as well as combating societal violence, artificial intelligence and the role of private equity in healthcare innovations.
