Population Health, Value-Based Care Journey Progresses

The July/August 2019 issue of Healthcare Executive magazine is now online at HealthcareExecutive.org. In this issue, we focus on population health, value-based care and social determinants of health initiatives.

The cover story, “Population Health Turned Inward: Employee Health Successes” explores progress on the healthcare field’s journey to population health and value-based care.

The other feature article, “Caring for the Vulnerable: Confronting Social Determinants of Health Improves Outcomes,” examines health systems across the country that are addressing societal issues that affect the health of their communities and patient populations.

We hope you enjoy the magazine’s online format and the fresher, more contemporary look and feel. In addition to the articles in the current issue, you can access previous issues and web-exclusive content.
