ACHE's 2019–2020 Chairman Officers were installed at the Council of Regents Meeting during the Congress on Healthcare Leadership in Chicago.

Chairman: Heather J. Rohan, FACHE, president, HCA TriStar Division, Brentwood, Tenn.

Chairman-Elect: Michael J. Fosina, FACHE, president, NewYork-Presbyterian Lawrence Hospital, Bronxville, N.Y., and senior vice president, NewYork-Presbyterian, New York

Immediate Past Chairman: David A. Olson, FACHE, chief strategy officer, Froedtert Health, Milwaukee

Additionally, four Fellows were elected to the Board of Governors to serve three-year terms:

Kurt A. Barwis, FACHE, president/CEO, Bristol (Conn.) Hospital & Health Care Group Inc.; Regent for Connecticut, 2016–2019

Brian C. Doheny, FACHE, associate vice president, strategy advancement, Humana, Inc., Louisville, Ky.; Regent for Kentucky, 2010 to 2013

Michael A. Mayo, FACHE, president, Baptist Medical Center–Jacksonville (Fla.); Regent for Florida–Northern and Western, 2017 to 2019

Also during the meeting, 19 Fellows were elected to serve as ACHE Regents. In addition, three Regents and one Regent-at-Large recently were appointed on an interim basis.

Graduate Student Scholarship Deadline Nears   

There is still time to apply for a Dent or McGaw scholarship before the application window closes March 31. Offered annually, both the Albert W. Dent Graduate Student Scholarship and the Foster G. McGaw Graduate Student Scholarship are awarded to outstanding students enrolled in graduate programs in health services administration to help finance their education.
