Strengthen Your Leadership Development

Fast-track your growth as a leader in just eight weeks with ACHE’s interactive Leadership Development Program that begins April 24. You’ll receive one-on-one executive coaching, build your leadership network, leverage your strengths and challenge assumptions.

Led by expert faculty, this innovative coursework will help you increase your confidence, self-awareness and skills as an executive. This program is tailored to mid-careerists and senior-level healthcare leaders who are preparing for the next level of leadership.

Recent research suggests that self-aware leaders make better decisions, build stronger relationships and cultivate more satisfied and engaged employees—resulting in more profitable organizations. Leaders with a high degree of self-awareness know their strengths, blind spots and development paths.

With personalized 360-degree feedback, a confidential, individualized coaching session, personality and behavior assessments, this program will help you assess your personality style and behavior patterns that impact your leadership presence. You will be able to identify barriers that may prevent you from taking your career to the next level.

Consisting of eight virtual modules, completion of this program also earns members 12 ACHE Virtual Interactive Education credits. Visit ache.org to register and learn more.

Blog: Putting AI in Its Place

When considering healthcare innovation, cutting-edge technologies like AI are often top of mind.

In his blog post “Avoiding the Pitfalls of AI Hype With a Strategic Innovation Agenda,” Brian R. Spisak, PhD, research associate, Harvard’s T.H. Chan School of Public Health, challenges this notion.

Spisak argues that “true transformation transcends gadgets and algorithms. Through their strategic agendas, healthcare leaders drive meaningful change.” The key is developing a strategic agenda that is “flexible enough to adapt to dynamic environments but also unwavering when it comes to mission, vision and values,” he says.

Throughout his post, Spisak poses poignant questions that challenge healthcare leaders to tie the strategic agenda to a “people-centered vision” that ensures exceptional outcomes for patients and staff. Read his blog post to gain further insight.
